Money is a two-place decimal wearing a symbol, which is exactly why it is taught before decimals in most classrooms: a child who cannot say what 0.05 means can usually tell you what five cents is. If the decimals sheet is going badly, this one is often the way back into it.
Every answer prints with both places, so $4.50 is not $4.5. That is a small thing on screen and a real one on paper — writing money with one figure after the point is the commonest mark lost on this topic, and a key that did it too would be teaching the mistake.
The answers were worked out when the problems were, so the key is the same page with the answers drawn in rather than a second attempt at the same questions — there is no way for the two to disagree. The number in the footer is the seed the sheet was built from: it is printed so that the identical sheet can be had again next week, rather than one that merely looks like it.
